Children's physiotherapy is the branch of physiotherapy that specializes in disorders that affect children.
This discipline includes pediatric pathologies, whether acute or chronic.
Manual techniques: massage, stretching, myofascial techniques, joint and visceral mobilisation, drainage.
Techniques to become aware of a region (proprioception): palpation, biofeedback, mobilisation, cognitive explanations, eutonia.
Instrumental techniques: electrotherapy, functional ultrasound, biofeedback, deep diathermy, Chinese balls, vibrators, dry needling.
Behavioural techniques (behavioural treatment): eating patterns, healthy habits related to the urinary and defecatory system, body weight control.
Therapeutic exercise: specific pelvic floor training, functional exercises, abdominal and lumbar muscle training (CORE), hypopressive exercises, proprioceptive trunk, postural and respiratory re-education.

Pre-pregnancy treatment: a check-up before pregnancy allows us to assess the existence of good mobility of the different abdominal, visceral and pelvic structures that will be involved during the process.
Gestational treatment: helps to maintain good control of the functionality of the pelvic floor and abdominal girdle, normalises tensions in the lumbar area, pelvis and abdomen, provides guidance in the practice of physical activity in the different trimesters of pregnancy, provides tools to move the pelvis and feel its movement, postural guidelines for dilation and labour, techniques for managing labour pain.
Postpartum treatment: assesses the good involution of the body and the correct repositioning of all the structures.
Menopause treatment: assesses and provides treatment guidelines to improve trophism and ensure the best conditions of the urinary and genital system.
Urinary dysfunctions: stress urinary incontinence, urgency urinary incontinence, vesico-sphincter dyssynergies.
Intestinal dysfunctions (coloproctological): constipation, anorectal incontinence (gas or faeces).
Sexual dysfunctions: dyspareunia (pain during intercourse), vaginismus, anorgasmia, etc.
